Traditionally, Chinese jigging fishing fleets catch two cohorts of neon flying squid in the Northwest Pacific Ocean: (1) the autumn cohort; (2) the winter-spring cohort. According to the latest data, we digited the catch and vessels of the two cohorts from logbook during 2005 – 2023, then we plotted the monthly and yearly spatial distribution of catch for the two cohorts during 2018 – 2022.We also calculated the nominal CPUE of the two cohorts.
