Design and content of other RFMOs’ VME Taxa ID Guides and suggestions from the NPFC Members
The intent of this paper is to summarize intersessional work of the SWG on VME id field guide. The paper presents a review of VME taxa identification guides of four RFMOs (CCAMLR, NAFO, SEAFO and SPRFMO) and includes the suggestions from Japan, Korea and Russia on the design and content of the NPFC VME id field guide for the western North Pacific. An example of the guide drafted by Japan is attached.
